With decades of history and a proven development system, the Modena based club has trained athletes competing at regional and national levels.
Federico, our Hudson Wave Founder & Director, grew up inside this club & system and maintains direct relationships with leadership and coaching staff, allowing exclusive integration for our visiting athletes.
We are offering a full immersion into Italian volleyball culture.

The camp takes place in Sestola, a beautiful mountain town in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines in Northern Italy.
Surrounded by nature, fresh air, and breathtaking views, Sestola offers a safe and focused environment - perfect for full athletic immersion away from distractions.
Sestola is located just over one hour from Modena, the city where Coach Federico grew up and began his volleyball journey.

This area combines elite sports tradition with authentic Italian culture.
Athletes train in a professional indoor sports facility (Palazzetto dello Sport) with up to three regulation courts, while staying in supervised shared accommodations in town.
THE ADULT TUSCANY EXPERIENCE
FROM JUNE 28 - JULY 4
While our young athletes immerse themselves in high-level volleyball training in the mountains of Northern Italy, accompanying adults and families are invited to experience Tuscany the way it was meant to be lived.
You will experience a curated journey through Florence and the Tuscan countryside - designed around culture, food, landscape, and authentic local life.
Throughout the entire adult experience, the group will be accompanied by Lindsey, Federico's wife. Having hosted multiple yoga retreats in Tuscany, Lindsey brings deep familiarity with the region, trusted local relationships, and a calm, thoughtful presence to the week. Parents can fully relax knowing the experience is guided with care, intention, and attention to detail from arrival to reunion.
From Renaissance architecture to rolling vineyards, from farm-to-table dining to slow mornings in historic piazzas, this experience blends elegance with rustic authenticity.

Welcome to Florence
The experience begins in Florence, where families gather for a welcome dinner at a classic Florentine restaurant and ease into the rhythm of Italy with evening strolls through historic streets and vibrant piazzas. The following day is yours to enjoy the city at your own pace - whether that means exploring world-renowned museums, shopping for artisan goods, discovering hidden cafés, or simply soaking in the atmosphere with a relaxed aperitivo.
Escape to Chianti & Countryside Living
From Florence, the journey continues into the heart of Chianti, where the group settles into a charming countryside agriturismo surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. Here, the pace slows. Days are spent enjoying the beauty of the Tuscan landscape, relaxing by the pool, savoring farm-to-table meals, and embracing the "dolce far niente" of rural Italian life.
Winery & Medieval Towns
A highlight of the week includes a winery visit and tasting in Chianti, paired with lunch among the vines, followed by time exploring the iconic medieval town of San Gimignano. It’s an authentic immersion into Tuscany’s culture, flavors, and timeless scenery.
Celebration & Reunion
The week concludes back in Florence, where families reunite with the players after camp - each having experienced something meaningful and unforgettable in their own way.
