WAVE ITALY 2026
TERMS, WAIVERS & PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
Program Dates: June 28 – July 4, 2026

In collaboration with: Hudson Wave Volleyball Club
By registering for Wave Italy 2026 and submitting a deposit, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Program Structure
Wave Italy 2026 consists of:

A youth volleyball training camp hosted in Italy in collaboration with a local Italian club
-
An accompanying adult Tuscany cultural experience
-
Supervision by Hudson Wave coaches and Via Varsity representatives
Via Varsity LLC serves as the organizing and coordinating entity for the overall program experience.
2. Registration & Capacity
Participation is limited to 12 players and 12 adults total.
Spots are secured upon receipt of the required deposit. Once capacity is reached, a waitlist will be established.
Priority registration for Hudson Wave competitive families remains open until March 8, 2026.
3. Payment Terms
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure participation.
The remaining balance is due May 1, 2026.
By submitting a deposit via Stripe or Zelle, you expressly authorize Via Varsity LLC to automatically charge the remaining balance on May 1, 2026 to the payment method on file.
Failure of final payment may result in cancellation of participation without refund of deposit.
Credit card payments include applicable processing fees. Zelle/Venmo payments do not include processing fees.
4. Cancellation Policy
Deposits are non-refundable.
If a participant cancels after May 1, 2026, all payments made are non-refundable unless a replacement participant is secured.
Via Varsity LLC reserves the right to cancel the program if minimum participation is not met. In such case, payments made will be refunded minus non-recoverable third-party costs.
Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance covering cancellation and unforeseen events.
5. Travel Responsibility
Participants are responsible for:

Booking their own flights to and from Florence, Italy
-
Maintaining valid passports
-
Securing any required travel documentation
Via Varsity LLC is not responsible for airline disruptions, travel delays, lost baggage, or government restrictions.
6. Itinerary Adjustments
The program itinerary may be modified due to operational, weather, safety, or logistical considerations. Equivalent experiences will be provided when reasonably possible.
7. Supervision & Conduct (Players)
Players are expected to:

Follow all instructions from coaches and chaperones

Adhere to camp rules and curfews
-
Demonstrate respectful conduct
Violation of conduct policies may result in dismissal from the program at the family's expense.
Hudson Wave Club Director and Hudson Wave Chaperones will be present for the full duration of the camp.
8. Assumption of Risk (Players & Adults)
Participation in international travel and athletic training involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Physical injury
-
Illness
-
Travel-related risks
-
Unforeseen circumstances
By participating, you voluntarily assume all associated risks.
9. Release of Liability
You agree to release and hold harmless:

Via Varsity LLC
-
Hudson Wave Volleyball Club
-
Club Directors, Coaches, chaperones, staff, and affiliates
from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Camp training activities are hosted by an Italian partner club and subject to their local operational policies and insurance coverage. Via Varsity LLC coordinates and facilitates the program but does not assume liability for third-party service providers.
10. Medical Authorization
Parents/guardians authorize Via Varsity representatives and coaches to seek emergency medical treatment for their child if necessary.
Participants confirm they are medically fit to participate.
11. Insurance Requirement
All participants (players and adults) are required to carry international travel medical insurance including:

Emergency medical treatment
-
Emergency evacuation
-
Repatriation coverage
Proof of coverage may be requested prior to departure.
12. Adult Participation
Adult participants acknowledge personal responsibility for:

Health and travel insurance
-
Personal conduct
-
Any alcohol consumption
Via Varsity LLC is not responsible for personal medical expenses or voluntary activities outside scheduled programming.
13. Media Release
By participating, you authorize Via Varsity LLC and Hudson Wave Volleyball Club to use photographs and video content taken during the program for promotional purposes.
14. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of New Jersey.
15. Electronic Agreement
By submitting the registration form and typing your name as a digital signature, you acknowledge that:
